The search menu on JobsPikr dashboard allows user to choose from various search filters and prepare specific job searches. Following are the details of each filter:
To access the search menu go to this section of your account: https://app.jobspikr.com/my/data_queries/new
- The first field is Location. Type the first few characters of the location that you want to search, and select the desired location from the list. If the location field is left blank, the result displays job listings from all the locations.
- For the next field i.e. Job Description, enter the most relevant keyword for the jobs you want to search. You can type multiple keywords in this field. It searches for the specified keyword throughout the job description of the job listing.
- Enter the Job Title for which you want to search. You can type more than one job title.
- Select the Post Date period to get the job listings posted in the desired date range.
- Choose the Job Type after checking the dropdown options. You can choose more than one option or check the 'All' if the job you want to search for all the job types.
- Choose the Company Type after checking the dropdown options. You can choose from either Agency or Company or check the 'All' if you want results from both. The Company here refers to the job postings directly made by the hiring company and Agency refers to the jobs posted by recruitment agencies.
- Choose the Job Board after checking the dropdown options. You can choose more than one option or check the 'All' if the job you want to search for all the job boards.
- In the Inferred Skills, enter the skills which are relevant to the job role. You can type more than one keyword in this field.
- Select Language Code if you are looking for a specific language. Eg. eng for English, spa for Spanish, etc.
- Choose the Dataset from Jobboard and Employer websites. Jobboard here refers to the job posting only from job platforms and Employer websites are the company website that is added specifically for multinational companies or fortune 500 companies.
- If you want to view the salary data, then check the box for Salary data available.
- If you want to view the contact details of the hiring company, then check the box for Contact data available.
- If you want to view the remote job postings, then check the box for Remote/Work From Home.
- If you want to view only the unique job postings taken from all the job boards, then check the box for Exclude Duplicates.
- If you want to view the job postings with the application URL, then check the box for Apply URL available.
- If you want to view the job postings which has job description in HTML for structuring, then check the box for HTML job description available.
- If you want to view the job postings with the logo of the hiring company, then check the box for Logo URL available.
Click on ADD MORE SEARCH PARAMETERS to choose more filters. The dropdown will look as shown in the image below:
- Enter the Company Name for which you want to search. You can type more than one company name. Also, you can perform both the actions of including or excluding a company from your search results. This comes in handy when trying to include or exclude certain agencies or companies that you're interested in. This would match any subset of the company name as opposed to an exact match.
- Enter the Department name in Inferred Department for which you want to search. You can type more than one department name. Also, you can perform both the actions of including or excluding a department from your search results.
- Include or exclude the Senority required in a job posting from Inferred Senority. You can choose from entry-level, mid-level, and senior-level.
- Include or exclude the Salary Time Unit required in a job posting from Inferred Salary Time Unit. You can choose from yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly.
- Include or exclude the Salary Time Unit required in a job posting from Inferred Salary Time Unit. You can choose from yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly.
- You can also enter keywords that should not be present in your job posting from Keyword field. The keywords will be excluded from the job search.
- Check whether the job posting has contact details like phone number and email of hiring company recruiter by selecting Exists or Don't Exist option from Contact Phone Number and Contact Email.
- Include or exclude the salary requirements from job posting using the filters Salary Currency and Salary Amount.
- You can also enter keywords in the Exclude Keywords fields to exclude certain types of jobs from the job search.
After preparing the search query, click on the search button to see the job records samples. The sample data preview looks as shown in the image below:
